On the occasion of World Environment Day our Disability Centre at Kotdwar, Aligarh, Uttrakhand celebrated World Environment Day by planting trees in used containers. The staff is working with the motto that “work must go on” and serving humanity should never stop. With this positive attitude, all of our staff is continuing to work. Our students have planted some plants by reusing the tin and plastic containers.
By this, they are giving a message to all to re-use items that are non-biodegradable to help save the environment. Our earth is facing a huge amount of non-biodegradable waste even in the depths of the seas. Also as they reused the plastic and tin containers, the ethic to save the environment will be implanted in them as they are the future of the earth. We also asked them to plant as many plants and trees as possible.
This really helps them to come nearer to nature. As they grow plants on their own, they will have a sense of achievement. The teacher of the center Miss. Tamanna called up some of the students and asked them about the importance of trees in their lives and taught them how to do the planting. The children really enjoyed this activity. It filled them with immense pleasure. They all maintained social distancing.
Wish you a Happy World Environment day. May God bless us all and keep us all safe and nature the mother earth.
